There’s no harm being called a Facebook slave, everybody in some way is. Too bad we don’t realize it. If Facebook shuts down will Facebook addicts go insane?

There’s no denying Facebook is the most popular social networking site. The number of active users on this social network is unimaginable, and this is just the beginning. Everybody seems to be hooked onto this phenomenal social networking service. Facebook has given new meaning to the virtual world. It has given refuge to unreal emotion but that’s not a bad thing considering how things unfold in the real world. The possibility of Facebook

shutting down in the near future is remote, however one cannot rule out the possibility as conspiracy and greed get mightier by the second. If Facebook shuts down, it may well spell disaster for virtual dwellers.

If doors close, Facebook addicts will find it hard to cope up in the real world, which means majority of people from around the world would suddenly

get lonely. Come on! A person in today’s times has more friends on Facebook than in the real world, it’s scary. Imagine how lonely this world would get if Facebook shuts down. It might well affect the entire world. Not being able to access Facebook for a few days evokes drastic mood swings in addicts; a Facebook shutdown will stem catastrophic global manic depression.

Behavioral disorders will be alarmingly high and suicidal tendencies will be on the rise, drastically. Trying to be sane will be a challenge and exhibitionism of dual personalities will take over. Confusion about who is the true you in the real world will call upon and awaken multiple personalities, consequences…hmmm. Am I what I am or am I what I’m not. This is just a dream! Wake up before the nightmare begins.
